Why Support a Charity

Part of Think Bigger’s philosophy is a passion to help others less fortunate than ourselves. After we have learnt to receive from others in building our own life we then need to give to others, because as we receive we should also give so others can also grow and develop, that is why your vision and inspiration should have the well-being of others as part of its drive and motivation. This is why successful people have a passion or a “why” for something bigger than themselves and it is for this reason we have taken on A21 Charity as our nominated charity so we too can help other people that are unable to help themselves.

A21 CHARITY

The A21 Campaign is committed to abolishing injustice in the 21st Century, focusing its efforts on human trafficking and modern day slavery. It is unique in that it is an international anti human-trafficking organisation actively involved in not merely raising awareness, but is also actively involved at a grassroots level to rehabilitate and restore survivors, and support local police and governments in meeting the needs of human trafficking victims. The A21 Campaign is one of merely a few international organisations addressing the overwhelming human trafficking problem in Eastern Europe. This is despite recent UN findings that show that the former Soviet Union, Central and Eastern Europe have replaced Asia as the main source of women trafficked to Western Europe. In addition, Western Europe contains most of the highest-ranking destination counties in the Human Trafficking citation. Whilst there are many local organisations providing local crisis shelters and victim assistance in independent Eastern European nations, The A21 Campaign is currently the only organization of its kind providing victim assistance across national borders.

The Objectives of A21

1. Offer a temporary shelter for victims of trafficking to provide the best medical, psychological and legal services available to ensure safety, restoration and justice for survivors. In conjunction with this, we also offer repatriation services including shelters and restoration homes with which we partner in countries of origin.

2. Work to support legislation that will ensure traffickers are identified, prosecuted and serve out their sentences, as well as ensure witnesses are provided with adequate protection and assistance throughout the investigation.

3. Develop a worldwide awareness campaign that will address the reality of human trafficking.
